As a freelance writer and former police officer I’ve covered criminal justice issues ranging from officer fitness to patrol technology. I’m also a contributing editor at Law Enforcement Technology, the premiere resource for police professionals (www.officer.com), where I write a column called On Your Watch.
I write true crime, op-eds, analyses, narrative and investigative pieces on any and all aspects of criminology. I am especially interested in missing persons, but will address almost any subject in the criminal justice spectrum.
I’m proud of my law enforcement career and the people whose lives I touched during my time on the Thin Blue Line. I know the vast majority of men and women who serve behind the badge to be decent, capable and hardworking. I consider it a privilege to represent them in the media.
